Film Studio

A story idea in. A finished film out.

Describe a story in a sentence. Film Studio writes it in three acts, casts every character, gives each one a voice, and shows you the cast before anything is filmed. Approve it, and it films every shot, records the dialogue, matches the lips, scores it, cuts it at the pace of a real film and hands you the finished movie — with subtitles, a thumbnail and a YouTube description ready to paste. Up to 30 minutes, in 50 languages.

  • One sentence → a three-act film
  • The same faces from the first scene to the last
  • A distinct voice for every character, in 50 languages
  • See the cast before you pay for the film

Written like a film

From a sentence to a screenplay and a shot list.

Film Studio writes a story bible — the characters, the places, the look — then a screenplay act by act, then every shot: its framing, what moves in it and how long it holds. The pacing is taken from real films: dialogue scenes breathe, fights cut fast, and the whole film lands on the length you ordered.

  • Three-act structure with scenes sized to your runtime
  • Shot sizes, camera moves and cut lengths chosen scene by scene
  • Dialogue written in the language you choose, in its own script
  • Four looks — cold and low-key, firelit, bleached daylight, storybook — or let the story choose

The cast holds

Meet your cast before a single shot is filmed.

Every character is drawn once, and that picture guides every shot they appear in, so the woman in scene one is the woman in scene fifty. A character who grows — a hatchling who becomes a dragon — gets a picture for each act. You review the whole cast and every place first: redraw anyone who looks wrong, and hear and change any voice. Nothing expensive happens until you approve.

  • One reference picture per character, used on every shot they are in
  • Characters who age get a picture per act
  • Redraw any character or place before you approve; every frame they are in is drawn again with them
  • Each speaking character gets their own voice — or pick any voice, including your cloned ones

Sound that fits the picture

Dialogue first, then everything is cut around it.

The lines are recorded before a single shot is filmed, and every shot is timed to hold its line — so no line is ever cut off by the next shot and no two characters talk over each other. Speaking close-ups are lip-synced. A music bed ducks under the dialogue, and the mix is levelled like a film, not a phone video. Subtitles are written in the film’s language.

  • Every shot timed to the line spoken over it
  • Lip-sync on on-screen dialogue
  • Music that ducks under speech, film-level loudness
  • Subtitles (SRT) in the language of the film

Credits are shared across every ReVidGen studio. A film is paid for in two steps: a planning deposit when it is written and cast, which pays for the script and the storyboard you review, and the rest when you approve it — the deposit counts toward the film. If a film fails to finish, the render charge is refunded automatically and trying again reuses every shot, line and picture already made. Films on the free plan carry a watermark, removed on any paid plan. Unused credits expire after 30 days.

FAQ

Asked, answered.

What do I need to start?+

A sentence about the story is enough — “a mother hides the dragon she raised from the village that wants it dead”. You can add a page of direction if you want: an era, a tone, an ending.

Do the characters look the same all the way through?+

Yes — that is what the cast step is for. Each character is drawn once and that picture guides every shot they appear in. Characters who change over the story, like a creature that grows up, get a picture for each act. You see all of them before the film is made, and can redraw anyone; the price is shown first.

Which languages can the characters speak?+

Fifty, including English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Pashto, Sindhi, Arabic, Bengali, Persian, Turkish, Indonesian, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The dialogue is written in that language and script, each character gets a distinct voice, and the subtitles are in the same language.

What does it cost?+

Standard is 400 credits a film plus 440 per minute of finished film, Cinema is 480 plus 490 and Premium is 560 plus 720. When the film is written you pay a planning deposit of 215 credits plus 140 per minute (at least 285); it pays for the script and the storyboard, and counts toward the film if you go ahead, so a 5-minute Standard film costs 2,600 credits in total. The exact price is shown before you pay, and a script that needs more filming than its length (wall-to-wall dialogue, every line its own shot) shows its own price at review, before anything else is charged.

What is the difference between Standard, Cinema and Premium?+

In Cinema every shot is filmed in motion. In Standard, every shot of a character is filmed in motion too, but establishing views of places and close-ups of objects are painted frames with a slow camera move — which at the pace of a film is hard to tell apart, and is why Standard costs less. Premium films every shot at full 1080p instead of upscaling a smaller master, with steadier motion: the sharpest faces and the cleanest mouths. You can switch at approval.

Can I change a voice or a line before the film is made?+

Yes. Each speaking character arrives at review with a voice designed for them and two takes to hear; pick one, design again with your own description for 14 credits, or choose any voice from your library. Every shot is shown as the frame it will be animated from, with its line and how it is spoken; a frame can be redrawn and a line rewritten. Once the film is made, one shot can be retaken (from 150 credits, by length and quality) and the film is re-edited around it.

How long does a film take?+

Writing and casting take a few minutes. Filming depends on the length — a short film is usually ready within an hour, and a 30-minute film takes a few hours. You can close the page; the film keeps going.

What if something goes wrong?+

If a film fails to finish, the render charge is refunded automatically. Trying again reuses every shot, line and picture that was already made, so you do not pay for them twice.

Can I publish it on YouTube?+

Yes. Each film comes with a title, a description with chapter markers, tags and a thumbnail, and a subtitle file you can upload alongside the video. Films on the free plan carry a watermark; any paid plan downloads them without it.
